Este ensaio tem por objetivos propor uma revisão crítica sobre Estado da Arte da teoria e prática de Gestão do Conhecimento (GC) sob o ponto de vista da complexidade e identificar as tendências atuais (prospectiva) para a disciplina. A metodologia adotada para os propósitos desta pesquisa foi a de bibliometria mediante buscas pelo aplicativo Program Files \Harzing's Publish or Perish, restringindo as ocorrências ao período (2007-2011), com as palavras chaves exatas, apenas nos títulos das publicações Esta proposta teve origem nas discussões atuais encontradas na literatura a respeito das possibilidades e limitações teóricas, práticas e tendências de pesquisa sobre a Gestão do Conhecimento, que têm sido olhadas segundo a ótica positivista e cartesiana da maioria dos autores contemporâneos, mas que tende a ser estudada do ponto de vista da teoria da complexidade, sendo um campo de investigação deveras promissor.

This essay aims to propose a critical review on State of the Art in the theory and practice of knowledge management (KM) from the point of view of complexity and identify current research trends (foresight) for the subject. The methodology adopted for the purposes of this survey was of bibliometrics through searches by using the applicative Program Files \Harzing's Publish or Perish. restricting the occurrences for the period (2007-2011), with the exact keywords only in the titles of publications This proposal originated in current discussions founded in the literature about the theoretical possibilities and limitations, practices and trends of research on Knowledge Management, which have been looked through as positivist and Cartesian perspectives by contemporary authors, but that tends to be studied from the point of view of the complexity theory, being a very promising issue for research.
