O Homem Imaginante e a Obra da sua Imaginação: Uma Reflexão sobre os Processos de Localidade e a Apropriação da Ficção Televisiva Estrangeira

O presente estudo compõe um conjunto de reflexões desenvolvidas para compreender as motivações e reações do consumo de um mesmo produto televisivo de ficção seriada por sujeitos receptores de diferentes matrizes culturais. O olhar é voltado para o ‘sucesso internacional’ de séries em países culturalmente tão diversos. Neste trabalho é apresentado um recorte que se ocupa da origem da produção artística a partir dos estudos de Morin (1973) sobre a brecha antropológica. Localizamos a ficção seriada como produto cultural massivo que responde às três caraterísticas indicadas por Appadurai (2004) para descrever o novo papel que a obra da imaginação tem no mundo globalizado e midiático. A análise se concentra na terceira caraterística que trata de repertórios compartilhados, aí apresentamos os estudos sobre múltiplas proximidades de Straubhaar (1991), assim como elaboramos reflexões sobre a possibilidade de recepção ativa de comunidades internacionais.

The present study composes a set of reflections developed to understand the motivations and reactions of the consumption of the same television product of serial fiction by receiving subjects of different cultural matrices. The focus is on the ‘international success’ of series in countries that are so culturally diverse. In this work a clipping that deals with the origin of the artistic production from the studies of Morin (1973) on the anthropological gap is presented. We located serial fiction as a massive cultural product that responds to the three characteristics indicated by Appadurai (2004) to describe the new role that the work of the imagination has in the globalized and mediatic world. The analysis focuses on the third characteristic that deals with shared repertoires, and then we present the studies about multiple proximities of Straubhaar (1991), as well as elaborating reflections on the possibility of active reception of international communities.
