Este artigo visa analisar a cobertura realizada pela Folha de S. Paulo sobre as manifestações de rua ocorridas no Brasil nos dias 15 de março e 12 de abril de 2015. Lideradas pelo Movimento Brasil Livre e Vem Pra Rua, tais atividades tiveram como principais bandeiras o impeachment da presidente Dilma Rousseff (PT). Utilizamos como aporte teórico a Economia Política da Comunicação e as Indústrias Culturais, sob a ótica de autores como Mosco (2010), Wasco (2006), Rebouças (2005) e Moraes (2008). O artigo faz um estudo de caso descritivo e interpretativo, por meio da análise quantitativa e qualitativa dos espaços que apresentam a linha editorial do jornal: capas, editoriais e colunas políticas. A partir da análise de conteúdo, é possível afirmar que a Folha de S. Paulo contribuiu para estimular as manifestações.

This paper aims to analyze Folha de S. Paulo’s coverage on the righwing protests that happened across Brazil on March 15th and April 12th, 2015. Led by Vem Pra Rua (Take to the Streets) and Movimento Brasil Livre (Free Brazil Movement), these protests demanded the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff (PT, Workers party).Using the Political Economy of Communication and Cultural Industries - from the perspective of authors such as Mosco (1996), Wasko (2006), Fadul; Rebouças (2005) and Moraes (2008) - as theoretical reference, this paper presents a descriptive case study and the theoretical-methodological framework of Discourse Analysis, through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the sections that present the editorial line of the newspaper: covers, editorials and political columns. The analysis leads to the conclusion that Folha de S. Paulo contributed to stimulate.
