Durante o governo de Augusto Simões Lopes foi produzido um conjunto de imagens sobre
educação, o qual foi utilizado como forma de propaganda governista. A fotografia da distribuição
do “Cópo de Leite”, em especial, demonstra a dualidade da utilização das imagens, através da
vinculação da mesma ao texto, mais especificamente, à  legenda. Tal fotografia e tal forma de
assistência abrem espaço para a análise da relação do texto e da imagem.

During Augusto Simões Lopes’s government, a group of  visual images about education was
produced, which was used as form of  government marketing. Especially the picture of  the
Cup of Milk distribution, demonstrate the duality of the use of the images, through the relationship
with the photograph and the text, more specifically, to the legend. Such picture and such form
of  attendance open space for the analysis of  the text and the image relationship.
