Esse estudo visa à compreensão das precipitações no municÃpio de Belém de São Francisco – PE,
no perÃodo de 1962 a 2009, durante a quadra chuvosa na região. No trabalho, tem-se um
levantamento da distribuição das precipitações dos 5.772 dias durante a quadra, de 1962 a 2009 e
a análise da intensidade dessas precipitações subdivida em 04 (quatro) categorias. Para a
realização desse estudo os dados climatológicos foram obtidos junto ao laboratório de
meteorologia de Pernambuco (LAMEPE). Nessas análises constatou-se a influência do fenômeno
El Niño sobre as precipitações no municÃpio. Observam-se ainda que houve tendências para
quadra chuvosa dos últimos 27 (vinte e sete) anos, bem como para os meses que compõem essa
quadra.
This study foot aims at to the understanding of rainfall in the city of Belém de São Francisco –, in
the period of 1962 the 2009, during squares rainy in the region. In the work, a survey of the
distribution of rainfall of the 5,772 days is had during squares, of 1962 the 2009 and the analysis
of the intensity of these rainfall subdivides in 04 (four) categories. For the accomplishment of this
study the climatology data had been gotten next to the laboratory of meteorology of Pernambuco
(LAMEPE). In these analyses it was evidenced influence of the phenomenon El Niño on rainfall in the city. The trends are not still observed for square rainy of last the 27 (twenty and seven) years, as well as for the months that compose this square.
