O perfil demandista sempre marcou a atuação do Ministério Público. No entanto, as novas atribuições do Parquet conferidas pelas Constituição Federal de 1988 e os instrumentos extrajudiciais que surgiram permitem o crescimento do modelo resolutivo, fundamental para evitar a judicialização. Este artigo busca analisar, qualitativamente, como a 3ª Promotoria de Justiça de Baturité (CE) utilizou esses instrumentos extrajudiciais, para solucionar as demandas que surgiram de março a setembro de 2020, período marcado pela pandemia de Covid-19. A análise da atuação extrajudicial da promotoria supracitada foi realizada tendo como referência as características da dinâmica resolutiva do MP elencadas por Rodrigues (2011).

The demand-side profile has always marked the work of the Public Ministry. However, the new attributions of the Parquet granted by the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the extrajudicial instruments that emerged allow the growth of the resolution model, fundamental to avoid judicialization. This article sought to analyze, qualitatively, how the 3rd Prosecutor’s Office in Baturité (CE) used these extrajudicial instruments to solve the demands that arose from March to September 2020, a period marked by the 19-pandemic pandemic. The analysis of the extrajudicial performance of the aforemen tioned prosecutor’s office was carried out with reference to the characteristics of the MP’s resolving dynamics listed by Rodrigues (2011).
