A contemporaneidade é marcada por uma crise de valores que influencia todos os setores da vida, inclusive o esporte e os ambientes de seu ensino. Valores como instantaneidade, superficialidade, busca por prazeres imediatos estão afastando os jovens de projetos de ensino de esportes com perspectiva de médio e longo prazo, fato que justifica a necessidade de estudos em propostas de intervenção que objetivem o engajamento de crianças e jovens nas turmas de aprendizado de qualquer modalidade esportiva. Este estudo discute as repercussões de um instrumento de avaliação aplicado em um projeto de extensão que oferece o ensino de judô a uma comunidade rural do município de Amargosa, Bahia. Este instrumento estimula a auto avaliação com ênfase atitudinal e foi aplicado diariamente com cada aluno durante quatro meses. Como metodologia de pesquisa foram aplicados questionários com os professores e monitores e realizadas rodas de conversa com as turmas que permitiram destacar que houveram mudanças no comportamento dos alunos decorrente desta avaliação. Concluise ainda que ofertar a experiência de implantação, desenvolvimento e avaliação desta ferramenta para discentes graduandos de educação física contribuiu para suas formações docentes, visto a dificuldade de se confrontar com oportunidades reais desta natureza nas demais dimensões acadêmicas. Desta forma, a intervenção exercitou a indissolubilidade ensino/pesquisa/extensão, ao oferecer experiências à comunidade ao mesmo tempo que confrontou os discentes a refletirem sobre a adequação dos aspectos teóricos da área, assimilados nas diferentes disciplinas cursadas, ao cenário da prática docente e, finalmente, produzir conhecimento na forma de investigações como a que trata este artigo.

The contemporaneity is marked by a crisis of values that influences all sectors of life, including sports and teaching environments. Values such as immediacy, superficiality, seeking immediate pleasures are away from the young design school sports with the medium and long term, which justifies the need for studies of intervention proposals that aim to engage children and young people in classes learning any sport. This study discusses the repercussions of an evaluation instrument applied in an extension project that offers teaching judo to a rural community in the municipality of Amargosa, Bahia. This tool encourages self-evaluation with emphasis on attitudinal and was applied daily with each student for four months. As a research methodology were applied questionnaires with teachers and monitors wheel and held conversation with the classes that have underlined that there have been changes in student behavior resulting from this evaluation. It is further to offer the deployment experience, development and evaluation of this tool for physical education graduate students contributed to their teaching training, by the difficulty of coming to grips with real opportunities of this nature in other academic dimensions. In this way, the intervention exercised the indissolubility of the teaching / research / extension, offering experiences to the community while confronting the students to reflect on the adequacy of the theoretical aspects of the area, assimilated in the different disciplines studied, to the scenario of the teaching practice and, finally, produce knowledge in the form of investigations such as the one dealt with in this article.
