Capital social significa envolvimentos sociais que favorecem a qualidade das relações dos indivÃduos da comunidade, baseadas em reciprocidade, cooperação e soluções de problemas de todos. A partir dessa enunciação fez surgir o objetivo de dar resposta a seguinte questão: a Copagril, cooperativa agroindustrial, situada no municÃpio de Marechal Cândido Rondon, Estado do Paraná, pode ser concebida como elemento de capital social local, favorecendo de forma significativa o desenvolvimento regional? Assim, para mensurar esse capital social têm-se como ponto de partida a coleta de dados primários, e a utilização de um instrumental estatÃstico descritivo que possibilitou obter os indicativos para esta pesquisa. Com a análise dos resultados gerados pode-se afirmar que a Copagril possui razoável grau de participação de capital social no municÃpio.
Social capital means social involvement that promotes the quality of relations of individuals from the community, based on reciprocity, cooperation and solutions to problems of all. From this statement, the goal of answering the following question has raised: Copagril, an agribusiness cooperative, located in the Marechal Cândido Rondon city, Paraná State, can be designed as social capital element, promoting in a significant way the local development? Thus, to measure this social capital we have the collection of primary data as starting point, and the use of a descriptive statistical instrument that enabled the obtaining of the indicative to this research. Analyzing the results we can say that Copagril has a reasonable degree of social capital participation in the city.
