O presente artigo tem como
objetivo discorrer acerca do exercÃcio
de poder da chefia da municipalidade em Montes Claros, cidade situada
no norte de Minas Gerais, e demonstrar, através de uma sistemática revisão bibliográfica, como a hegemonia
do grande capital rural se consolidou
através dos anos, e como entrou em
crise nas eleições municipais de 1982.
The present article aims to
discuss about the exercise of power
within the context of leadership of
the municipality of Montes Claros, in
northern Minas Gerais, and demonstrate, through a systematic literature
review, how the hegemony of the big
farmers took place over the years, and
how it enters into crisis in the local
elections in 1982.
