The aim of this text is to explore the meaningful aspects concerning in the narratives Jóias de família by Zulmira Ribeiro Tavares, in an attempt to probe into the contributions the character and the narrator give to the construction of the novel, as well as the relations between memory and narrative, which are implied in this work.
