No momento histórico contemporâneo os jovens são frutos de uma geração digital, que fazem uso das tecnologias digitais em diferentes atividades de seu cotidiano, existindo uma cultura digital estabelecida na Internet. Assim, o objetivo geral é compreender que expectativas os alunos do ensino médio da Escola Estadual Professor Domingos Aparecido dos Santos têm com relação ao uso de tecnologias digitais em sua formação escolar. Para o alcance do objetivo traçado foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa do tipo exploratório-descritiva, com método indutivo e análise qualitativa em dados primários e discussão com dados secundários. Com o estudo realizado foi alcançado o objetivo geral ao apresentar as expectativas dos alunos do ensino médio da Escola Estadual Professor Domingos Aparecido dos Santos têm com relação ao uso de tecnologias digitais em sua formação escolar, com a apresentação de que necessitam de maior disponibilidade de novos recursos tecnológicos pela escola; maior participação dos professores enquanto mediadores e maior interesse dos colegas para o estudo em grupo. Dessa forma, pode-se concluir que as expectativas dos alunos tem relação com a mudança de ação da escola com melhores investimentos em tecnologia, ao mesmo tempo, que eles apontam a necessidade de uma mudança de postura dos professores e alunos, com relação ao interesse, mediação e atividades a partir do uso das tecnologias digitais.
The youth of our historical contemporary age is fruit of a digital generation, which makes use of digital technologies in different activities of their daily lives, there being a digital culture established on the Internet. Therefore, the general objective is to understand the expectations that high school students from Escola Estadual Professor Domingos Aparecido dos Santos have towards the use of digital technologies in their learning process. To reach the target goal an exploratory-descriptive research was developed, with inductive method, qualitative analysis of primary data, and a discussion of secondary data. After perfoming the research, the general objective was reached by presenting the expectations that high school students from Escola Estadual Professor Domingos Aparecido dos Santos have regarding the use of digital technologies in their educational process, demonstrating that they need the school to make available a higher amount of new technological resources; higher participation of teachers as mediators, and higher interest of classmates in study groups. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the expectations of students are related to the change of approach by the school with better investments in technology, at the same time, that they point out the need of a change of posture by teachers and students regarding interest, mediation, and activities using digital technologies.
