O artigo trata de um assunto pouco explorado na literatura histórica ocidental: os partidos comunistas da Rússia pós-soviética. Descreve a transformação do monopartidarismo do PCUS em um verdadeiro pluripartidarismo comunista na Rússia atual. São analisadas as posições ideológicas dos diferentes PCs em suas semelhanças e diferenças.
The article explores an area of historical research not sufficiently developed in Western studies: the post-Soviet communist parties in Russia. The article analyses the desintegration of the CPSU and its substitution by various smaller communist parties with different ideological outlooks. The author compares/contrasts the different ideological positions of these parties.
