Esse trabalho buscou discutir a importância do Psicopedagogo Institucional na Educação Infantil e de que maneira ele contribui para a formação da criança de baixa renda; identificar de que maneira os professores que atuam na creche municipal encaram o processo de formação das crianças. A pesquisa norteou - se pelas seguintes indagações: qual a importância do Psicopedagogo no contexto educacional? De que maneira o Psicopedagogo contribui para o trabalho do professor de Educação Infantil? Como os professores e o Psicopedagogo podem mudar a realidade desse aluno de baixa renda e suas dificuldades de aprendizagem? Percebemos a importância do trabalho psicopedagógico nas instituições de ensino e que ele se torna indispensável no âmbito da Educação Infantil. Em se tratando da creche de Quixabeira -BA, identificamos uma necessidade latente da presença do Psicope dagogo, como também de uma política de assistencialismo às famílias das crianças de baixa renda que frequentam a instituição.

This work sought to discuss the importance of the Institutional Psychopedagogue in Early Childhood Education and how it contributes to the formation of low - income children; to identify how the teachers who work in the municipal day care center view the children's training process. The research was guided by the following questions: what is the importance of the Psychopedagogue in the educational context? How does the Psychopedagogue contribute to the work of the Early Childhood Education teacher? How can teachers and the Psychopedagogue change the reality of this low - income student and his learning difficulties? We realize the importance of psychopedagogical work in educational institutions and that it becomes indispensable in the context of Early Childhood Education. In the case of the nursery in Quixabeira - Ba, we identified a latent need for the presence of Psychopedagogue, as well as a policy of assistance to the families of low - income children who attend the institution.
