O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar, argumentar e demonstrar a importância dos serviços extrajudiciais especificamente dos cartórios notariais e a sua função social no Brasil que consiste na efetividade dos serviços públicos na esfera administrativa com reflexos jurídicos, à desjudicialização, garantindo à sociedade segurança e eficácia dos atos jurídicos. Para tanto, faz-se necessário um breve estudo do direito notarial, abordando as atividades notariais, bem como, o seu impacto no âmbito jurídico e social.
The extrajudicial activities carried out by the registry offices are essential for the maintenance of society. Thus, this article aims to present, argue and demonstrate the importance of extrajudicial services specifically from notary offices and their social function in Brazil. To this end, a brief study of notarial law is needed, addressing notarial activities, as well as their impact on the legal and social spheres. In this way, the methodological procedure used is bibliographic research, with analysis of documentary content via the internet, using the deductive method. Thus, it can be concluded that notarial activities consist of the voluntary development of the law guaranteeing to the society security and effectiveness of the legal acts, therefore being important for the maintenance of the Democratic State of Law.
