Com o desenvolvimento da sociedade, nos seus diversos aspectos, como políticos, culturais, sociais e filosóficos, a visão do direito àinclusão vem se ampliando. Surge, cada vez mais, a necessidade de se refletir sobre os atuais processos de inclusão crianças com Síndrome de Down(SD) no ensino fundamental e como os professores lidam emrelação à aprendizagem desses alunos. A metodologia utilizada é a pesquisa descritiva integrada à uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa. O campo de pesquisa delimitado para o estudo proposto é uma unidade escolar privada, que atua da Educação Infantil ao Ensino Médio, localizada na cidade de Votuporanga-SP. A escolha dessa população ocorre através da adoção de critérios que beneficiaram a coleta de informações,poispermitemidentificar os problemas enfrentados no processo de inclusão de alunos com Síndrome de Down e principalmente sua evolução/ganhos obtidos no desenvolvimento das atividades propostas. Este trabalho não teveapenas cunho acadêmico, mas também tem almeja que seja levadoaos níveis mais altos na hierarquia da gestão desta unidade escolare principalmente às principais autoridades públicas do município, de modo que sirva de subsídios para desenvolvermelhor suas funções e colaborar para uma aprendizagem de qualidade para estas crianças, pois educação de qualidade não é dever somente do governo é sim, dever de todos nós.

With the development of society, in its various aspects, such as political, cultural, social and philosophical, the vision of the right to inclusion has been expanding. There is an increasing need to reflect on the current inclusion processes of children with Down Syndrome (DS) in elementary school and how teachers deal with the learning of these students. The methodology used is the descriptive research integrated with a qualitative and quantitative research. The research field delimited for the proposed study is a private school unit, which operates from Early Childhood Education to High School, located in the city of Votuporanga-SP. The choice of this population occurs through the adoption of criteria that benefited the collection of information, as they allow to identify the problems faced in the process of inclusion of students with Down Syndrome and mainly its evolution / gains obtained in the development of the proposed activities. This work was not only academic in nature, but also aims to be taken to the highest levels in the management hierarchy of this school unit and mainly to the main public authorities of the municipality, so that it serves as subsidies to better develop its functions and collaborate for quality learning for these children, because quality education is not only the government's duty, it is the duty of all of us.
