Em dezembro de 2019 surgiu no ordenamento jurídico nacional um conjunto de leis denominado como Pacote Anticrime. Esta novel legislação promoveu alterações em leis penais e processuais penais, que atingirão sensivelmente o funcionamento do sistema de justiça criminal. O artigo visa abordar especificamente alguns dos reflexos desta recente legislação no âmbito do Tribunal do Júri, principalmente no que se refere à violação do duplo grau de jurisdição e à presunção de inocência.
In December 2019, a set of laws called the Anti Crime Set of Law emerged in the national legal system. This new legislation has promoted changes in the criminal law area that will significantly affect the functioning of the criminal justice system. This article aim to specifically address some of the reflexes of this recent legislation within the scope of the Jury Trial, and the violation of the right to appeal to higher court as a principle and the presumption of innocence.
