NOVO PORTUGUÊS ATRAVÉS DOS TEXTOS: PROCESSO DE CONSTITUIÇÃO DA UNIDADE DIDÁTICA

No presente trabalho, na tentativa de melhor conhecer a constituição do ensino de língua portuguesa, propomo-nos, tomando a unidade didática como foco, investigar em que medida ela pode se constituir em um elemento organizador do livro didático de Língua Portuguesa na década de 1980, no Brasil. Para tanto, a pesquisa se sustenta na perspectiva teórica sócio-histórica, que permite compreender a unidade didática a partir de um processo histórico. Estudar o livro didático no Brasil sob essa perspectiva é um caminho aberto não só ao conhecimento da constituição da disciplina Língua Portuguesa, em particular, mas também ao de qualquer outra disciplina.

In this paper, in the attempt to better know the constitution of Portuguese language
teaching, taking into consideration the teaching unit as focus, we will investigate to what extent the
language may constitute itself in an organizing element of Portuguese language textbook in the 1980s, in
Brazil. In order to do so, the research is grounded in a socio-historical theoretical perspective, which
allows understanding the teaching unit from a historical process. Studying the textbook in Brazil under
this perspective is an open way to the knowledge of Portuguese language discipline constitution, and also
to other disciplines.
