Os chakras têm uma relação direta com os órgãos do corpo e se configuram como centros energéticos responsáveis pela troca e assimilação das energias que alimentam a integralidade das dimensões humanas, a saber: o físico, o emocional, o mental e o espiritual. O reestabelecimento do equilíbrio e da harmonização da saúde do ser humano a partir da integração dessas múltiplas dimensões é promovida pelo Reiki que se trata de uma terapia complementar e integrativa que significa “energia vital universal”, ou seja, corresponde a um método de cura natural em que são trabalhados os sete chakras por meio da imposição das mãos no ser humano. Pressupõe-se que a saúde se refere ao alcance de um bem-estar físico, emocional e social do indivíduo e este pode ser oportunizado pela equilibração dos chakras por meio do Reiki, contribuindo, assim, para a oferta de uma experienciação harmônica entre o mundo interno e externo. A partir da revisão da literatura científica, os resultados desse estudo indicaram a necessidade de inclusão do Reiki como uma prática terapêutica benéfica e capaz de promover o bem-estar físico e emocional do indivíduo e a qualidade de vida. Concebe-se, portanto, que por meio dessa terapêutica complementar realizada pelo profissional de Estética e Cosmetologia é possível promover a transcendência humana, levando o indivíduo a níveis mais integrados de si mesmo, à comunicação profunda e sensível, bem como ao equilíbrio entre a psique e corpo e o reconhecimento da potencialidade criadora humana.
Chakras have a direct relationship with the body's organs and are configured as energy centers responsible for the exchange and assimilation of energies that feed the entirety of human dimensions, namely: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The reestablishment of balance and harmonization of human health through the integration of these multiple dimensions is promoted by Reiki, which is a complementary and integrative therapy that means “universal vital energy”, that is, it corresponds to a natural healing method in which the seven chakras are worked on through the laying on of hands on the human being. It is assumed that health refers to the achievement of an individual's physical, emotional and social well-being and this can be provided by balancing the chakras through Reiki, thus contributing to the provision of a harmonious experience between the internal and external world. Based on a review of the scientific literature, the results of this study indicated the need to include Reiki as a beneficial therapeutic practice capable of promoting the individual's physical and emotional well-being and quality of life. It is therefore conceivable that through this complementary therapy performed by the Esthetics and Cosmetology professional it is possible to promote human transcendence, leading the individual to more integrated levels of self, to deep and sensitive communication, as well as to the balance between the psyche and body and the recognition of human creative potential.
