A Era da Informação tem proporcionado flexibilidade na educação, viabilizando a execução dos cursos a distância. Nesse contexto, o tutor estabelece o elo entre universidades e alunos. Diante disso, a presente pesquisa tem o propósito de analisar a flexibilidade no trabalho dos tutores de uma universidade federal. Os dados foram processados no SPSS, o que viabilizou o uso de técnicas da estatística descritiva, análise de frequência e teste de proporção. Com isso, constatou-se a flexibilidade na jornada de trabalho quanto ao tempo e ao espaço. Por fim, observou-se que a maioria dos profissionais associa o trabalho flexível à maior produtividade.
The information era has been providing an educational flexibility, allowing the implementation of distant education programs. In this context, the tutor establishes the link between universities and students. Before that, this research has the purpose of analyzing the flexibility on the work of tutors from a federal university. The collected data were processed in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, which allowed the use of techniques from descriptive statistics, analysis of frequency and proportion tests. By these means, we noticed flexibility both in the working hours and also to the time and space. Finally, we observed that the majority of professionals associate the flexible work to a bigger productivity.
