Este artigo explora, de forma crítica e reflexiva, a literatura acadêmica impressa nos países latino-americanos que organizaram as conferências da Sociedade Ibero-americana de Gráfica Digital. Os critérios de análise consideram o contexto da Terceira e Quarta Revolução Industrial e as ligações entre a educação e a prática da arquitetura e do urbanismo com as tecnologias digitais emergentes. O objetivo principal é mapear livros e catálogos que permitam traçar estratégias e perspectivas futuras que antecipem uma abordagem aos temas da Quarta Revolução Industrial. Ao final, constata-se que a bibliografia analisada permite identificar desafios e discussões acadêmicas sobre o futuro da implementação das tecnologias digitais produzidas na América Latina e sua relevância na educação e na prática da arquitetura contemporânea.
This paper critically explores the academic literature printed in Latin American countries that organized the SIGraDi conferences. Critical analysis considers the context of the Third and Fourth Industrial Revolution and the links between the education and practice of architecture and urban planning with emerging digital technologies. The main objective is to map books and catalogs that allow to draw future strategies and perspectives that anticipate an approach to the themes of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. At the end, it appears that the analyzed bibliography allows to identify challenges and academic discussions about the future of the implementation of digital technologies produced in Latin America and its relevance in education and in the practice of contemporary architecture.
