There is no question that Bolzano constitutes the origin and first antecedent of the “semantic turnâ€. In this “semantic turnâ€, the logical realism and struggle against psychologism represent central themes. However, far from eliminating the question of subjectivity as a philosophical theme, as one might think at first glance, such a theory is demanded as their necessary, systematic complement. In Bolzano, this problem is clearly identified, even though he doesn’t offer a sufficient and definitive solution to the same. In this sense, of particular relevance is the polemic between Bolzano and Exner, which is the first step of a long road which will finally lead to Husserl’s Phenomenology.
Es indiscutible que Bolzano constituye el origen y primer antecedente del “semantic turn†y que, en éste, el realismo lógico y la lucha contra el psicologismo representan tesis centrales. Pero ellas, no obstante, lejos de - como a primera vista podrÃa pensarse - eliminar la cuestión de la subjetividad como tema filosófico, remitiendo la misma a la psicologÃa, exigen una tal teorÃa como su complemento sistemático necesario. En Bolzano este problema ya está claramente colocado, aún cuando no se le ofrece una solución suficiente o definitiva. De particular relevancia en tal sentido es la polémica de Bolzano con Exner, la cual es el primer momento de un largo camino que conducirá finalmente a la fenomenologÃa husserliana.
