Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida na área urbana da cidade de Ronda Alta/RS, com a constituição e elaboração de propostas de recuperação e preservação de uma área verde, fortemente degradada, localizada no Loteamento Divino Girardi, no Bairro Ipiranga. Onde, a população do entorno desta área verde aplicou as propostas, feitas por técnicos, visando recuperação ambiental deste espaço público. Segundo Neckel et al. (2009), estas concentrações populacionais causam danos ao meio ambiente, se justificando assim, a necessidade de buscar alternativas de sustentabilidade ecológica que minimizem as degradações ambientais. Metodologicamente, fez-se no local a seleção de espécies adequadas para a revitalização da área, envolvendo o preparo do terreno. Isto trouxe resultados, que diagnosticaram a preocupação dos moradores do entorno, sobre a urgência de recuperar o local. Isto poderá trazer benefÃcios à população, não só da cidade de Ronda Alta/RS, mas cidades vizinhas que poderão vir a usufruir deste bem ambiental.
This research was conducted in the area of the town of Ronda Alta/RS, with the establishment and development of proposals for restoration and preservation of a green area, heavily degraded, located in the Divine Allotment Girardi, in Barrio Ipiranga. Where the population of the surrounding green area applied the proposals made by technicians, aiming at environmental recovery of public space. According Neckel et al. (2009), these population concentrations cause damage to the environment, thus justifying the need to seek alternatives that minimize ecological sustainability of the environmental degradation. Methodologically, it was in the local selection of appropriate species for the revitalization of the area, involving the preparation of the land. This brought results, which diagnosed the concern of the surrounding residents about the urgency to restore the site. This may benefit the population, not only the city of Ronda Alta / RS, but neighboring towns that may well enjoy this environment.
