Os sistemas regionais existentes apresentam um aparato judicial independente e baseado em tratados, o que afasta as possibilidades de controvérsias com relação à efetividade de suas decisões. O presente trabalho objetiva analisar os Direitos Humanos no plano regional dos Estados, especialmente, o Sistema Europeu, o Interamericano e o Africano, apontando seus avanços e desafios.

The regional systems existing have an independent judicial system based on treaties, which removes the possibility of controversy regarding the effectiveness of their decisions. This study aims to analyze Human Rights at the regional states, especially the European System, the Inter-American and African, pointing his advances and challenges.
