Este trabalho tem como objetivo, mostrar a relação intrínseca entre o trânsito e o turismo na cidade de Caldas Novas – GO. Deste modo, para estudarmos o trânsito e seus elementos, bem como todos os fatores positivos e negativos do mesmo na cidade teremos necessariamente que falar a respeito do turismo, pois é partir dessa premissa que se molda a questão da Geografia dos Transportes em Caldas Novas,cidade esta que se destaca pelo apelo turístico de suas águas termais. A Geografia se preocupa com o inter-relacionamento ambiental e humano em um contexto espacial, e Geografia dos Transportes é o estudo dos sistemas de transportes e seus impactos espaciais. Os meios de transporte são essenciais em uma cidade turística, pois o fluxo de pessoas, bens e serviços dependem substancialmente da condição de circulação. Esse trabalho justifica-se pela necessidade de compreender e avaliar a situação do trânsito na cidade de Caldas Novas nos períodos de alta temporada, quando a cidade sofre intensa movimentação turística,causando um grande acumulo de veículos e pessoas nas vias de circulação. Isso dificulta além obviamente da circulação das pessoas como a circulação de bens e serviços essenciais para que a atividade turística se desenvolva satisfatoriamente. O estudo dos transportes é, sobretudo, multidisciplinar por natureza, e algumas vezes também interdisciplinar.

This work has as objective, to show the intrinsic relationship between the traffic and the tourism in the city of Caldas Novas - GO. This way, for we study the traffic and its elements, as well as all the positive and negative factors of the same in the city will necessarily have to speak regarding the tourism, because it is to leave of that premise that the subject of the Geography of the Transports is molded in city of Caldas Novas GO, this that stands out for the I appeal tourist of its thermal waters. The Geography worries about the environmental and human inter-relationship in a space context, and Geography of the Transports is the study of the systems of transports and its space impacts. The means of transportation are essential in a tourist city, because the people's flow, goods and services depend substantially on the condition of circulation. That work is justified for the need of to understand and to evaluate the situation of the traffic in the city of Caldas Novas in the periods of high season, when the city suffers intense tourism movement cause a big one I accumulate of vehicles and people in the roads of circulation. That hinders beyond obviously of the people's circulation as the circulation of goods and essential services so that the tourist activity is developed satisfactorily. The study of the transports is, above all, multidisciplinary by nature, and sometimes also interdisciplinary.
