Este artigo descreve e analisa, do ponto de vista da legalidade e da legitimidade, os fatos operados entre 3.4.2008 e 18.4.2008, referentes às manifestações de protesto dos estudantes da Universidade de Brasília contra atos administrativos e opções políticas da Reitoria. No trabalho há breve descrição dos fatos ocorridos e de como as manifestações se deram. Por fim, é realizada uma abordagem da legalidade do Movimento e de sua legitimidade tendo por referência o modelo democrático de organização social, considerando o ordenamento jurídico brasileiro.
This article describes and analyzes, in terms of legality and legitimacy, the facts occurred between 4.3.2008 and 4.18.2008, regarding protests of the students of the University of Brasilia against the rector’s administrative actions and policy options of the same institution.On the article there are descriptions of the events and how the demonstrations happened. Finally, it is made an approach of legality of the movement and its legitimacy making reference to the democratic model of social organization, considering the Brazilian legal system.
