Os avanços na pecuária digital têm papel crucial, transformando a gestão dos rebanhos e promovendo eficiência e sustentabilidade. Ferramentas como monitoramento de saúde e rastreamento dos animais fornecem dados em tempo real, permitindo intervenções precisas para garantir bem-estar e produtividade. Além disso, a aplicação de tecnologias como blockchain e alimentação personalizada impulsionam o setor. Apesar de desafios técnicos e éticos, a pecuária digital representa uma mudança para uma produção mais eficiente e responsável, delineando um futuro promissor e sustentável.
The livestock industry, driven by technology, seeks to meet the growing demand for beef and dairy sustainably. The aim of the review was to explore the latest trends and advances in the use of emerging technologies in beef and dairy farming, with a focus on livestock management and monitoring. To this end, articles that addressed the theme proposed by this review were searched in the main indexing databases and Google Scholar. Advances in digital livestock farming play a crucial role, transforming herd management and promoting efficiency and sustainability. Tools such as health monitoring and animal tracking provide real-time data, allowing precise interventions to ensure welfare and productivity. Additionally, the application of technologies such as blockchain and personalized feeding drive the sector. Despite technical and ethical challenges, digital livestock farming represents a shift towards more efficient and responsible production, outlining a promising and sustainable future.
