A series of 1-[(4-substituted phenyl)(hydrazinyl)methyl]-1H-imidazole (1-6) were synthesized by Mannich reaction. Synthesized compounds 1-6 were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Mass and elemental analysis. Synthesized compounds 1-6 were screened for antimicrobial activity.
