Resumos Cadastrados

epistemologia, surge a proposta neoanimista, no romance A terceira metade
(2009), cujo campo alegórico indicia a urgente necessidade de ouvir a alteridade
para divisar outros modos de conhecer.

Resumo Inglês:

It is intended to survey the “historiographical” assumptions that
demarcate the fiction of the Angolan author Ruy Duarte de Carvalho (1941-
2010). When exploring Ruy Duarte's self-inscription with the Kuvale shepherds,
in the Namibe desert, it is necessary to make a literature review of the
“anthropological” aspects of the author's work. Thus, we will perceive that there
is a concrete Africa, different from the ideas of “dark continent” and/or “heart of
darkness” spread by the humanist imagination. Against this neo-tradition of
epistemology, the neoanimist proposal emerges, in the novel A terceira metade
(2009), whose allegorical field indicates the urgent need to listen to otherness in
order to envision other ways of knowing.
