: Fundamentar as contribuições do Serviço Social no combate ao preconceito contra a diversidade sexual em contexto neoliberal e neoconservador analisando a Ética do Serviço Social. Pesquisa social exploratória mediante pesquisa bibliográfica com análise do Sexto, Oitavo e Décimo primeiro princípios fundamentais do Código de Ética do/a Assistente Social de 1993 e das Resoluções do CFESS 489 de 2006, 615 de 2011 e 845 de 2018. Compete ao Serviço Social reconhecer a relevância social do preconceito contra a diversidade sexual, do heterossexismo e da heteronormatividade; compreender a dominação-exploração por orientação sexual e identidade de gênero como expressões da Questão Social; promover cultura de respeito à diversidade de expressão e identidade de gênero, respeitando o uso do nome social e acompanhando de forma integral quem necessita do processo transexualizador. A Ética do Serviço Social dispõe sobre o enfrentamento do preconceito contra a diversidade sexual no empenho na eliminação de qualquer preconceito, na defesa dos direitos humanos da comunidade LGBT socialmente discriminada que luta por sua cidadania plena; no exercício do Serviço Social sem discriminar; e no compromisso com a despatologização da transexualidade.

: To base the contributions of the Social Work in the fight against prejudice against sexual diversity in neoliberal and neoconservative context through the analysis of the Ethics of Social Work. Exploratory social research through bibliographic research with analysis of the Sixth, Eighth and Eleventh fundamental principles of the Code of Ethics of the Social Workers of 1993 and the Resolutions of CFESS 489 of 2006, 615 of 2011 and 845 of 2018. Is relevant to Social Work recognize the social relevance of the prejudice against sexual diversity, heterosexuality and heteronormativity; to understand the domination-exploitation by sexual orientation and gender identity as expressions of the Social Question; promote a culture of respect to diversity of expression and gender identity, respecting the use of the social name and following fully who needs of transexualizing process. The Ethical of Social Work writes about confronting prejudice against sexual diversity in elimination of any prejudices; in defense of human rights of the socially discriminated LGBT community that fights for its full citizenship; in the exercise of Social Work without discrimination and in commitment to the depatologization of transsexuality.
