A autora Conceição Evaristo debruçou-se sobre a escrita dos seus personagens de modo a ressignificar e desconstruir os estereótipos construídos ao longo da literatura brasileira, e com as mulheres protagonistas não foi diferente. Nesse contexto, o presente artigo possui, como objeto de estudo, as representações do feminino negro no conto Luamanda, suas interpretações e os contextos formulados pela personagem Luamanda. Como objetivos específicos têm-se em descrever a performance literária empreendida pela autora, especificar as representações do feminino advindas das narrativas evaristianas e apresentar os discursos expelidos pela personagem em questão. A metodologia baseou-se em um estudo qualitativo de abordagem descritiva bibliográfica amparada em autores como Ribeiro (2021), Carneiro (2019), Kilomba (2019), entre outros que abordam o feminino negro e as suas representações. Também fez análise dos discursos e expressões identitárias proferidos a partir da personagem Luamanda. Em termos de resultados, nota-se que as narrativas evaristianas são manifestações de denúncias e desconstrução das representações construídas em torno das mulheres negras, no caso de Luamanda formulou-se a resistência e a ressignificação de uma mulher que ansiava freneticamente pela liberdade. Podendo ser vista através de sua voz narrativa como protagonista e também como construtora de uma identidade feminina negra.

The author Conceição Evaristo focused on the writing of her characters in order to reframe and deconstruct the stereotypes built throughout Brazilian literature, and with the female protagonists it was no different. In this context, this article has as object of study the representations of theblack female in the short story Luamanda, its interpretations and the contexts formulated by the character Luamanda. The specific objectives are to describe the literary performance undertaken by the author, to specify the representations of the feminine arising from the Evaristian narratives and to present the speeches expelled by the character in question. The methodology was based on a qualitative study with a descriptive bibliographic approach supported by authors such as Ribeiro (2021), Carneiro (2019), Kilomba (2019), among others who address the black female and its representations. It also analyzed the speeches and identity expressions uttered from the character Luamanda. In terms of results, it is noted that the Evaristian narratives are manifestations of denunciations and deconstruction of the representations built around black women, in the case of Luamanda, the resistance and resignification of a woman who frantically yearned for freedom was formulated. It can be seen through her narrative voice as a protagonist and also as a builder of a black female identity.
