todos ou para alguns? Ou podemos crescer a partir da organização do maior encontro do mundo de seleções de futebol?
The reconstruction of Brazilian history involves understanding the political struggles between subaltern groups. The advancement of football as a social, sporting and political practice has taken the world by storm, bringing with it gigantic events such as the World Cup. Brazil has already hosted a World Cup. It was in the distant year of 1950. It will host another one, this time in 2014. For whom and for whom does an event of this magnitude serve in a country with so many structural problems? Are we prepared for this? Could investments be directed to areas other than organizing this event? Would the event be a party for everyone or for some? Or can we grow from organizing the world's largest gathering of football teams?
