O presente trabalho analisa a experiência discente na oficina “Theatro José de Alencar cena: drama e criação de narrativas”, atividade com caráter extensionista proposta no âmbito da disciplina “Drama como método de ensino”, ofertada aos alunos do curso de licenciatura em Teatro da Universidade Federal do Ceará. Aborda questões acerca da importância da extensão universitária enquanto componente curricular na formação do docente em teatro e da promoção de ambientes que favoreçam o desenvolvimento da autonomia dos licenciandos.
The present paper analyzes the student experience in the workshop “Theatro José de Alencar in scene: drama and creation of narratives”, an extensionist activity of the discipline of “Drama as a teaching method”, offered to the students of the course of teacher certification in Theater of the Federal University of Ceará, State of Ceará, Brazil. It addresses questions on the importance of university extension as a curricular component in teacher training in theater and the promotion of environments that favor the development of the autonomy of the graduates.
