Este trabalho quer refletir, por meio da análise da obra Apologético escrita por
Beato de Liébana no século VIII, sobre as rivalidades, conflitos e adaptações que marcaram
o processo de constituição das práticas culturais da Igreja Cristã romana e da sua
institucionalização. Interessa-nos aqui, pensar a forma como se forjaram os instrumentos de
luta dentro de um debate que levou, anos mais tarde, à constituição efetiva de uma ortodoxia
cristã e consequentemente, a discursos unificados quanto às proposições de práticas
consideradas desviantes
This work to want to reflect, through the analysis of the work Apologetic written
by beatified of Liebana in the 8th century, on the rivalries and conflicts and adjustments that
have marked the process of constitution of cultural practices of the Christian Church and
Roman's institutionalization. We are interested to think how if construtium the instruments
to fight within a debate that has led, years later, the constitution effective a Christian
orthodoxy and consequently, to the speeches unified as the propositions of practices
