O controle sobre o movimento operário amazonense, assim como o de outras regiões do país, foi disputado por socialistas, reformistas, anarquistas, colaboracionistas e, também, por setores de grupos dominantes. O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar os interesses de segmentos da elite local em produzir uma fala direcionada ao operariado cujo conteúdo continha uma proposta política de formação de um “bloco de interesses do trabalho”, explicitando o contexto social e político que contribuíram para esse processo.
Control over the Amazon labor movement, as well as that of other regions of the country, was disputed by socialists, reformists, anarchists, collaborators, and also by sectors of dominant groups. The objective of this article is to analyze the interests of segments of the local elite in producing a speech aimed at the working class whose content contained a political proposal for the formation of a "block of labor interests", explaining the social and political context that contributed to this process.
