A incompreensão do fenômeno lexical da Acrossemia resulta na inadequação terminológica e de conceitos relacionados à s formações acrossêmicas, causando dificuldades à compreensão do léxico português, interferindo, dessa forma, no processo de ensino-aprendizagem nas aulas de morfologia lexical de lÃngua portuguesa variante brasileira. Afirmar que as siglas, os siglônimos e os acrônimos - resultantes do processo da Acrossemia - estão presentes no léxico escrito e/ou falado da LÃngua Portuguesa é repetirmos o óbvio. Todavia, esta evidência é intuitiva, pois pouco se conhece cientificamente sobre essas unidades léxicas, sobre sua estrutura e seu funcionamento no acervo lexical do sistema linguÃstico português.
The misunderstanding of the phenomenon of lexical acronym results in inadequate terminology and concepts related to training acronym, causing difficulties to understand the Portuguese lexicon, interfering thus in the process of teaching and learning in classes of lexical morphology in Brazilian Portuguese variant. Claiming that the abbreviations, acronyms and the siglônimos - that the process of acronyms - are present in the lexicon written and / or Portuguese is spoken of repeating the obvious. However, this evidence is intuitive, since little is known scientifically about these lexical units, on its structure and its operation in the collection of lexical Portuguese linguistic system.
