A sexualidade de adolescentes em unidades de internação estrita é tema complexo, que envolve as leis do Estado, cuja incumbência é a de guardar em segurança os adolescentes sob sua custódia, bem como as diretrizes fundamentais dos direitos hu- manos. Conquanto a maioria dos adolescentes tenha vida sexual ativa antes de ser inter- nada, uma vez em reclusão não há permissão à sua continuidade, a não ser que haja comprovação de relacionamento conjugal estável anterior à internação. O tratamento dispensado aos adolescentes do sexo masculino é distinto do modo empregado às ado- lescentes. Na instituição de reclusão de adolescentes infratores há diretrizes político- administrativas de dessexualização implícitas, o que faz com que o sexo na reclusão signifique vida e morte, prazer e punição.
The sexuality of teenagers at internment facilities is a complex theme. It involves the laws of the State, whose duty is to care for the safety of the teenagers under its custody as well as respect the fundamental guidelines of Human Rights. Although most teenagers have an active sexual life before they are admitted, there is no permis- sion to its continuity when they are there, unless there is proof of a stable relationship prior to the internment. The treatment given to teenagers of the male sex is different from the one given to teenage girls. At the confinement facility of juvenile delinquents, there are political and administrative policies on desexualization that are implicit, which makes sex, in confinement, mean life and death, pleasure and punishment.
