The article reflects on the trajectory of the theater group II Trupe de Choque, trying to relate its limits and contradictions to the historical process of negative formation of the country. t investigates the tense relationships between creative theatrical process, pedagogy and public spaces in São Paulo, through the description and analysis of a creative process led by the group.
