"O feminismo tem sido uma corrente importante no pensamento agroecológico" (ALTIERI E ROSSET, 2018) mas parece ter ficado à margem da virada política nos textos científicos agroecológicos. Nesse artigo, analisaremos a partir de uma perspectiva de gênero, a literatura científica de autores "líderes", identificando tanto o androcentrismo do autor quanto o androcentrismo dos textos. Depois mergulhamos nos escritos dos "líderes" para capturar as representações das mulheres rurais e seus efeitos em termos de invisibilidade delas como agentes agroecológicas, sujeitas sabidas e sujeitas políticas.

“Feminism has been an important school of thought of agroecological thinking” (ALTIERI AND ROSSET, 2018) but seems to have remained on the margins of the political shift in agroecological scientific texts. This chapter aims to analyse the scientific literature of “leading authors” from a gender perspective by identifying both the androcentrism of the subject-author as well as the androcentrism of texts. Then, we dive into the writings of the “leaders” in order to understand the representations of rural women and their effects in terms of invisibility as agroecologists, subjects of knowledge and political subjects.
