No setor elétrico, a qualidade em seus sistemas é de extrema importância, pois este setor trabalha de forma
interligada, em que a ocorrência de problemas em uma unidade geradora, interfere no sistema de transmissão
e, conseqüentemente, no cliente final. Este trabalho tem por objetivo a utilização do FMEA (Análise dos
Modos de Falha e Efeitos), como uma ferramenta para análise das ocorrências de falhas e aumento da
confiabilidade de um sistema numa usina termelétrica. O sistema escolhido na usina termelétrica para
execução do FMEA é o de proteção contra incêndio do turbo-gerador. A metodologia utilizada no
desenvolvimento deste trabalho está na formação de uma equipe multidisciplinar para a realização de
brainstormings (tempestade de idéias), mapeamento das causas e efeitos das falhas e utilização de
ferramentas de construção e discussão do FMEA. Os resultados mostraram-se eficientes no dia a dia sendo
importantes no aspecto cognitivo dos empresários e funcionários.
In the electric section, the quality in their systems is very important, because this section works in an
interlinked way, in that the occurrence of problems in a generating unit, interferes in the transmission system
and, consequently, in the final customer. This work has for objective the use of FMEA (Analysis of the
Manners of Flaw and Effects), as a tool for analysis of the occurrences of flaws and increase of the reliabilityof a system in a term-electric plant. The chosen system in the term-eletric plant for execution of FMEA is it
of protection against fire of the darken-enerating. The methodology used in the development of this work is Turbo Gerador, FMEA, Termoelétrica.
