Guerra Mundial. Nos primeiros anos,
especificamente durante o governo do
General Dutra, as inflexões na política
interna e externa do país expressaram
No Brasil, o principal
aspecto
American way of life.

Resumo Inglês:

This article proposes a reflection on how the Cold War has
materialized in Brazil after the end
of World War II. In the early years,
specifically during the government
of General Dutra, the inflections in
the domestic and foreign policy of
the country expressed the influence
of the United States and the different
perceptions of how to position them
selves facing the new bipolar world.
In Brazil, the main aspect of the Cold
War anticommunism was displayed in
different social spheres and determined the position of the country as the
USA. In 1947, a succession of events,
such as the diplomatic break with the
USSR and the forfeiture of the Communist Party led to the consolidation
of a type of anticommunist speech
and an anti-alignment that did not generate the desired dividends, but gave
rise to a nation that has learned the
meaning of American way of life.
