Este trabalho fez uma análise da gestão de peças sobressalentes em uma empresa de saneamento básico e
seus impactos no processo produtivo. Foi desenvolvido um estudo de caso, pelo qual foi feito um
mapeamento para identificar os ativos de maior criticidade para os processos da empresa. Após identificação
dos ativos crÃticos do processo; aqueles que impactam diretamente nos objetivos; foi realizado um
levantamento do histórico de manutenção desses ativos, a fim de verificar a freqüência de intervenções
nesses ativos e peças com maior Ãndice de substituição. Esse mapeamento foi elaborado consultando dados
fornecidos pela empresa. Foi mensurado o tempo médio entre o surgimento da necessidade de peças
sobressalentes e a disponibilidade das mesmas para o departamento de manutenção. Com base nessas
informações foram calculados os custos associados à indisponibilidade de peças sobressalentes.
This work makes an analysis of the management of spare pieces in a company of basic sanitation in the north
area of the Rio de Janeiro State and its impacts in the productive process. A case study will be developed, on
which a charting will be done in order to identify the most critical items for the process of the company.
After identifying which are the critic items of the process, those which impact directly in the objectives of
the process, we will make a survey on the history of these items, aiming to verify the frequency of
interventions in these items and pieces with higher rate of replacing. This charting will be done by checking
the data provided by the company. The medium time will be measured between the occurrence of the need of
spare pieces and their availability for the maintenance department. Based on this information we will
calculate the costs associated with the availability of spare pieces.
