ANÁLISE DA PERCEPÇÃO SOBRE A PROBLEMÁTICA RELATIVA AOS RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS URBANOS REVELADA POR MORADORES DE URUTAÍ, GOIÁS, BRASIL

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi estudar a percepção que os moradores da cidade
de Urutaí – GO tem acerca da temática “resíduos sólidos”, com intuito de entender a
opinião e o conhecimento dos mesmos sobre o assunto, além de indagar sobre
possíveis soluções que podem ser aplicadas no dia-a-dia de cada morador. Os
dados foram por meio da aplicação de um questionário com 18 perguntas, tendo
sido entrevistado um total de 129 indivíduos. Os resultados indicam que os
entrevistados têm consciência dos problemas relacionados ao lixo, porém não
adotam ações em prol da resolução dos problemas. Os resultados apontam para o
fato de que a inexistência de políticas públicas colabora com a falta de
comprometimento dos moradores em relação aos resíduos gerados por estes.

Resumo Inglês:

The aim of this study was the perception that the inhabitants of Urutaí - GO on the
subject has "solid waste", with the aim of understanding and knowledge of the same
opinion on the matter, and inquire about possible solutions that can be applied in
day-to-day life of each resident. The data was through the application of a
questionnaire with 18 questions and was interviewed a total of 129 individuals. The
results indicate that respondents are aware of the problems related to garbage, but
do not take actions for the resolution of problems. The results point to the fact that
the lack of public policies contributes to the lack of involvement of residents in
relation to waste generated by them
