Este artigo se baseia em metodologia bibliográfica e tem como objeto a abordagem metodológica de investigação científica conhecida como Análise de Discurso Crítica (ADC). Foram pesquisados sua origem, seus precursores e seu caráter transdisciplinar. Investigou-se como ADC compreende a relação entre agência e estrutura, bem como entre texto, discurso e prática social. Examinou-se de quais modos conceitos como ideologia, intertextualidade e hegemonia se relacionam para a Análise de Discurso Crítica. O artigo traz ainda resultados de pesquisa sobre uma via de ADC que vem crescendo no Brasil (a proposta teórica de Norman Fairclough) e uma reflexão sobre a possibilidade de utilização e de atualidade da ADC em pesquisas que venham a ser desenvolvidas no atual contexto sóciopolítico deste país.
This article is based on bibliographic methodology and has as its object the methodological approach of scientific investigation known as Critical Discourse Analysis (ADC). Its origin, its precursors and its transdisciplinary character were investigated. We investigated how ADC understands the relationship between agency and structure, as well as between text, discours e and social practice. It was examined how concepts such as ideology, intertextuality and hegemony are related to Critical Discourse Analysis. The article also brings research results on an ADC path that has been growing in Brazil (the theoretical proposal of Norman Fairclough) and a reflection on the possibility of using and updating the ADC in research that may be developed in the current socio-political context of this parents.
