O objetivo deste estudo é investigar as publicações cientÃficas na temática do Terceiro Setor no Brasil,
considerados sob a ótica de redes de cooperação entre autores, instituições, aspectos metodológicos e localidade regional a
elas vinculadas. O marco teórico contempla aspectos inerentes aos estudos do Terceiro Setor e redes sociais sob a ótica da
análise da análise de centralidade. O estudo baseado em redes de cooperação contribuirá para a compreensão das estruturas
de relação entre pesquisadores na área de administração e contabilidade, na temática Terceiro Setor. Realizou-se uma
pesquisa sociométrica, com perspectiva longitudinal de 174 artigos. A metodologia utilizada é empÃrico-analÃtica, realizada
por meio de coleta, cálculo e análise de dados. É caracterizada como descritiva quanto aos objetivos, documental quanto
aos procedimentos, e quantitativa e qualitativa quanto à abordagem do problema. Entre os resultados, destaca-se a baixa
densidade das redes de coautoria e a estrutura regional concentrada em publicações internas. Quando comparada à rede
de autores com as instituições pela caracterÃstica regionalidade, verifica-se que só ocorreu uma associação com instituição
estrangeira e que o norte do paÃs não pesquisa a área.
The aim of this study is to investigate the scientific publications of Third Sector in Brazil, considered from the
perspective of cooperation networks among authors, institutions, regional location and methodological aspects linked to them.
The theoretical framework includes aspects related to studies of the Third Sector and social networks from the perspective
of analysis of centrality. The study based on networks of cooperation will contribute to understanding the structures of
relationship between accounting and management researchers on Third Sector. It has been conducted a prospective longitudinal
research with sociometric on 174 articles. The methodology used is empirical analysis, conducted by collecting, calculating
and analyzing data. It is characterized as descriptive of the aims, procedures and documentation regarding the quantitative
and qualitative approach of the problem. The research shows there is a low density of networks of co-authorship, and the
regional structure focused on internal publications. When compared with the institutions network by authors feature regionalist,
it appears that there was only one association with the foreign institution and that the north does not search the area.
