This paper approaches, briefly, the concepts of subject, text and meaning, through the discourse analysis called “pechetianaâ€. The goal is to study the reading within a discursive scope, and to do this considering points concerning the text, specially, extralinguistics questions that we see as extremely important to the reading comprehension.
