O presente trabalho tem como proposta desenvolver uma análise ergonômica dos aspectos de segurança da
oficina de manutenção mecânica de uma usina termoelétrica, localizada na cidade de Campos dos
Goytacazes. Foi vislumbrado o enfoque às questões de segurança para o desenvolvimento das atividades
laborais, buscando identificar irregularidades nos aspectos ergonômicos na execução dessas atividades no
ambiente de trabalho e propor alternativas para reduzir e/ou eliminar as irregularidades e, conseqüentemente,
melhorar as condições de trabalho dos funcionários deste setor. Assim, após realizar uma breve descrição
sobre segurança do trabalho, discute-se a importância da ergonomia e do método OWAS (Ovako Working
Posture Analysing System). É enfatizada a importância de FURNAS no setor elétrico brasileiro, finalizando
com uma análise da segurança no setor de manutenção dessa empresa. Sugere-se que este trabalho possa
servir como uma ferramenta de apoio aos funcionários da empresa e demais organizações que disponham de
oficinas de manutenção.
The present work has as proposal to develop an ergonomic analysis of the aspects of safety of the workshop
of mechanical maintenance of a thermoelectrical plant, located in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes. It was
glimpsed the focus to safety's subjects for the development of the activities work, looking for to identify
irregularities in the ergonomic aspects in the execution of those activities in the work atmosphere and to
propose alternatives to reduce and/or to eliminate the irregularities and, consequently, to improve the
conditions of the employees' of this section work. Like this, after accomplishing an abbreviation description
on safety of the work, the importance of the ergonomics is discussed and of the method OWAS (Ovako
Working Posture Analysing System). The importance of FURNAS is emphasized in the Brazilian electricsection, concluding with an analysis of the safety in the section of maintenance of that company. The
analyses suggest that this work can serve as a support tool to the employees of the company and other
organizations that have maintenance workshops.
