In this work the techniques of Time Series and Reliability Theory were applied to analyze the loss of life of power transformers, when subjected to an overload. Daily winding temperatures of one of the 100 MVA Power Transformers of the Candiota Thermoelectric, Candiota-RS were used. The period of analysis is from December 1992 to October 1993.
