Nesse artigo propomos alguns apontamentos sobre a análise do design de interiores a partir da perspectiva de gênero. As questões de estilo, configuração e arranjo de artefatos no espaço doméstico podem fornecer as configurações sobre os modos de vida de homens e mulheres construÃdos pela diferença e oposição. Os estudos especÃficos da cultura material sob a categoria de gênero são fundamentais para o entendimento dos binarismos e naturalizações nas relações entre mulheres e homens, bem como da construção do “masculino†e “feminino†na organização de artefatos, sobretudo em ambientes domésticos.
In this paper we propose some notes on the interior design of the analysis from a gender perspective. The questions of style, setting and artifacts arrangement in the home can provide the settings on the livelihoods of men and women built for difference and opposition. Specific studies of material culture under the category of gender are central to the understanding of the binaries and naturalisms in relations between women and men, as well as the construction of the "masculine" and "feminine" the artifacts organization, especially in homes.
