Aposentadoria: tempo de envelhecer ou reviver?

A aposentadoria pode ser vista como um evento normativo esperado ao longo da trajetória profissional e comporta vivências diferenciadas em relação à sua concepção inicial, significa a proteção ao trabalhador pelos anos dedicados ao trabalho, e também um momento de redimensionar e ressignificar a vida. Este artigo relata um estudo que teve como objetivo verificar a percepção de professoras aposentadas acerca da aposentadoria do ensino superior e as motivações para voltar a trabalhar. A pesquisa seguiu os pressupostos do estudo de caso qualitativo, realizada em quatro Instituições particulares de ensino superior de Santa Maria/RS-BR, nos anos de 2006 e 2007, com mulheres professoras aposentadas de instituições publicas,que voltaram a trabalhar. A coleta das informações foi feita pela própria pesquisadora através de uma entrevista semi-estruturada. Ficou claro que para todas as participantes a aposentadoria está sendo um período gratificante em suas vidas e uma nova fase de muitas realizações. Voltaram a trabalhar porque se aposentaram muito jovens obrigadas pelas mudanças da legislação, e por considerarem que o trabalho as mantêm vivas, atualizadas, com qualidade de vida e disposição para continuar ensinando cada vez mais. Concluiu-se que, ao continuarem interagindo com diferentes gerações estas professoras aposentadas estão contribuindo na desmistificação da visão da aposentadoria como incapacidade, impotência, inércia e na construção de uma sociedade mais sensível ao seu envelhecimento, que vive e valoriza os aposentados que optara m por voltar ao exercício profissional.

The retirement can be seen like a normative event expected for all the professional trajectory and it contains unlike experienced existences relationated to inicial conception. It means the protection to the worker by the years dedicated to the work and also a moment to dimension and signify again the life. This article relates a study that had the aim to verify the perception
about the retirement of female college teachers and why they have come back to work. The search followed the rules of the Qualitative Study of Case. It took place in four private college in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, from 2006 to 2007 with female retired teachers of public institutions that have come back to work. The collect of the information was done by the own researcher through a semi-structured interview. It has got clear that for all the partakers the retirement is being a rewarding period in their lives and a new stage of many accomplishments. They have come back to work because they retired much young obligated by the legislation
shifts and because they considered that the job keep them alive, up-to-dated, with quality of life and energy to keep teaching more and more. It was concluded that in they continue interacting with different generations these retired teachers are contributing in the demystification of the view of retirement like unfitness, impotence, inertia and in the construction of a society more with its aging, that lives and valorizes the retired that chose to return to the professional exercise.
