O artigo analisa a influência da Arqueologia nos trabalhos do sociólogo Marcel Mauss na década de 1930, por conta da edição das obras póstuma do arqueólogo-sociólogo, Henri Hubert. Essa conversa entre diferentes saberes das ciências humanas pode ser vista como uma estratégia da Escola Sociológica Francesa para divulgar a Sociologia e o método sociológico durkheimiano no sistema de ensino e pesquisa francês. Para tanto, é apresentado a trajetória dos sociólogos Marcel Mauss e Henri Hubert e como estes participaram da “equipe durkheimiana” e da revista L’Année Sociologique. Após, é discutido como a Arqueologia aparece nos trabalhos de Mauss e em seus cursos proferidos no Collège de France.
The article analyzes the influence of Archeology in Marcel Mauss’ researchs in the 1930’s, due to the edition of posthumous works of the archeologist-sociologist, Henri Hubert. This discussion between different knowledge in the Human Sciences may be seen as a strategy of the French School of Sociology to propagate the Sociology and the durkheimian’s sociological method in the French system of education and research. Therefore, the trajectory of the sociologists, Marcel Mauss and Henri Hubert and how they participated in the durkheimian team and in the review L’Année Sociologique, is presented. After that, it is discussed how the Archeology appears in Mauss’ works and in his courses given at Collège de France.
